14-Day Catalan Culture & Language Immersion: Barcelona & Costa Brava
Join us for a 14-day Catalan culture and language immersion in Barcelona and Costa Brava. Students will explore iconic landmarks and stunning coastal views while participating in interactive language workshops. With all logistics managed, they can fully engage with the rich Catalan culture and enhance their Spanish skills.

This 14-day journey provides an in-depth look at Catalonia, focusing on both the region’s unique culture and the Spanish language. The trip begins in Barcelona, one of Spain’s most vibrant and creative cities. Here, students will participate in intensive language workshops that cover everyday conversational skills, as well as specific vocabulary tied to their cultural excursions. Visits to the Sagrada Familia, Park Güell, and the Picasso Museum will expose students to the artistic and architectural genius that defines Barcelona, all while enhancing their understanding of how language and culture intertwine.
Outside the classroom, students will engage in interactive cultural experiences, including a Catalan cooking class and a day trip to Montserrat, where they will explore the ancient monastery and scenic mountain trails. This immersive approach to learning allows students to practice their language skills in real-world settings, deepening both their cultural and linguistic comprehension.
The second half of the trip takes students to the picturesque Costa Brava, where they will visit small coastal villages and historical towns such as Girona and Figueres. Here, students will explore the surreal world of Salvador Dalí at the Dalí Theatre-Museum and engage in cultural exchanges with local students. The trip is designed to give students a holistic understanding of Catalonia’s rich cultural history while significantly improving their Spanish language proficiency through interactive learning.
