12-Day Andalusian Cultural Experience: Seville, Córdoba & Granada

Over 12 days, students will embark on a culturally immersive journey through Andalusia, the heart of southern Spain. The trip starts in Seville, where students will enhance their Spanish language abilities through a combination of classroom learning and engaging local experiences. Seville’s impressive landmarks such as the Alcázar, the Giralda Tower, and Plaza de España set the stage for a deeper understanding of Spain’s cultural legacy. Language workshops will be structured to not only teach practical conversational Spanish but also explore the historical significance of the sites they visit.

In Córdoba, students will discover the remarkable Mosque-Cathedral, an extraordinary example of Spain’s multicultural history. As they walk through its arches, they will explore the blending of Christian and Muslim influences that characterize much of Spain’s past. Alongside these excursions, students will practice their Spanish with local guides and during structured activities, ensuring language learning is constantly reinforced.

 

Granada will serve as the final stop, where students will visit the breathtaking Alhambra Palace and the surrounding Albayzín neighborhood. Here, they will dive into the Moorish history of Spain, learning new vocabulary as they explore the city's vibrant streets. A flamenco workshop will introduce them to one of Spain’s most famous cultural traditions, providing a fun, interactive environment for further language practice. By the end of this trip, students will not only have improved their Spanish but also gained a richer understanding of Andalusia’s deep-rooted cultural heritage.
